They are called dog rocks.

The other thing is Greenham's Tablets. Some say they are more effective than Dog Rocks.

Why do you want to give the poor dog a chemical to neutralise it's wee. Just keep it off the grass.

Ive heard about the tomato sauce thing. I dont think either solutions work. Ive just bought something called Patch Magic by Miracle-Gro. I shall see if it works but I think it is just the same if you dig the patch over and reseed (I had some success with that last year).

Get rid of the dog.
Simples. |

Bit more expensive but eventually we gave in and had artificial grass laid!
Not what you asked I know. The thing about dog rocks is that you have to just keep topping up the water bowl. I like to completely refresh ours several times a day. |

What is grass?

We are having the same problem with our boy dog. After our girl died we was told it was bitches that caused the grass to turn yellow so thought it would be ok now. But 18 months on and it is still turning yellow. I have even cut up a large patch that was dead and replaced it with new turf. Now that is dead as well.!! As he seems to go in that same patch each time.

This is a bit of a pain, but it works, water over the top of the wee to dilute it.We do not get yellow patches when its raining or snowing and have never had a problem of having to renew grass.

We've tried it all - dog rocks, ketchup, tomato puree and watering the grass after she'd been, nothing worked and our very small lawn was just mud so... we too have had artificial grass fitted and it's great!

I got, and still get yellow patches and thought my dog was the culprit, turns out it's foxes taking a wazz on my lawn.
