What you lot been up to today?

I've done very little today.

Just got back from Pizza Hut with some friends after having a good meal.

Strangely, it seemed like the play list of songs they had there seemed to include ones that reminded me of some ex partners. Thought it was coincidence until in the car on the way home, the radio played another song that reminded me of this too.

I wasn't really bothered by it, didn't make me feel sad, just saying.

Nothing productive whatsoever.... I got up about half 12ish.. watched Stormbreaker with Alex Pettyfer (very nice!) and then watched F1 which was excellent!

Lounged about this morning watching Gossip Girl (my new addiction!) then went and sat out for a nice coffee in the sunshine before sorting something at the bank, meeting a friend for coffee then an impromtu call over to the neighbours for a Moroccan style BBQ with them and the neighbours the other side. Nice relaxing day spent mostly sitting down :)

I've loitered on here, played scrabble, ironed a mountain of clothes, sold some things on Ebay, listed more stuff on Ebay, made a smoked haddock chowder for tomorrow, been for a walk, called to see one of my sisters, cooked tea, put the bin out for tomorrow, supervised Mr O who was gardening, done some sewing and made numerous phone calls.
A normal, quiet Sunday lol

Dusted off the wetsuits, made a picnic and went to the beach - it was lovely, blew some cobwebs away and the kids had a great time. I treated everyone to tea out (at a 2 for 1 place - £28 for all of us), so no cooking or washing up for me. Thing 1 still awake though as she slept in the car so she thinks it is only 20.45.

It would be inappropriate to discuss how I spent the morning, LOL.

Then dropped the BF at Gatwick.

Then went to the pub for dinner, and caught up on The Observer.

Played FFXIV on my PC, hung out here in AB and cooked, cleaned, laundry etc.

Grrr! stuck on a clue in Observer Everyman Crossword JJ and pride wouldn't let me ask for help.

Otherwise a couple of good walks and got into trouble with Madame S for being back late.

Went to B&Q, Tesco and the cemetary, did some gardening, went for a walk and played on PS3. Far too busy a day for my liking actually.

I drove down to a place in near Preston (leaving at 6AM) to pick up 300 kilos of fresh tomatoes and then delivered them to the end user in central Scotland.
Not a deep-fried Mars Bar in sight.

I had sausages in a bun for breakfast, lovely. I de-skinned and squished the sausages into burger shapes before frying them though, quicker and tastier too !

I've had a rubbish day and I can't wait for it to be over.

some jobs around the house. planted some new plants in the garden. then went with a group of mates to see our friend play cello in our city's orchestra's spring music concert all going on for dinner afterwards. all very civilised for us. ;O)

I'm going to bed. I feel very sick - my own fault. I made some meat and onion pies and instead of eating one or even two I ate three. Consequently I have the mother of all indigestions.

First bbq of the year, with family and lovely friends, amazing to be enjoying the sun in March, then this evening the great sight of Venus Jupiter and the new moon together in the sky, with a background chorus of amorous frogs in the pond:-)

5..showered and dressed
6..sat out in the sun reading my book
7..lunch (salmon salad)
8..sat out in the sun finished my book and started another.
9..watered plants inthe front garden..sun now around the back garden
10.. read my book
11..food, chicken moroccan style.. and dancing on ice.
12..Titanic...rubbish..
