How do I get cat urine smell out of my front flower bed.  It is getting in the house also. The smell is now in my boys room and my spare bedroom.   Its making my family sick.  And you can smell it as you come to the front door. Please help me!!  I don't want to ripe out the bushes.  Is there anything I can spray in the area?

Are you sure it isn't the bushes?   Flowering currant can smell exactly like cat's wee.

mrs. pudding is right. Do your bushes look like this?

No my bushes look nothing like that.  And I have more bushes like these are my house and I have no problem in that area.  Its the one right in front of my front window.  And with it getting warmer its just getting worse.
Well, if the cats are spraying round the bushes it's probably a territory thing. It's really only un-neutered Toms that produce the vile smell. You should be able to get a deterrent from a pet shop which might stop them doing it.
I don't know if it's still available, but there used to be a product called 'get off my garden' which was a kind of gel type substance. If it's still around it should help you out.
I'll try that again!

They usually sell other deterents in the local gun shop!!

So should I leave the bushes in the flower bed alone.  I was thinking I might have to ripe them out.  Thats one thing I fear.  And they are big bushes.
Sprinkle a large amount of Bicarbonate of Soda in a bucket lof lukewarm water and swill down the offending area.  Once it's dry, leave orange and lmon peel in the areas where you do not want cats to be.  Cats hate it, and it's the kindest way I know to stop the moggies from being a pest.
http://plants.thompson-morgan.com/uk/en/product/2131/1?SA=1303 I don't know if this works, but you can try it.
Crushed mothballs deter cats ( and dogs) and may be a cheaper alternative to commercial products. I have a holly tree in my garden and stick small holly branches around young plants. That deters cats very successfully. They don't like it up 'em !
