songs dogs howl to

have you ever watched a dog howl along to a song? If so, what was the song? I imagine Loving You by Minnie Ripperton or All I Really Wanna Do by Bob Dylan would get them going, but I'd love more suggestions

what's wrong with Minnie Ripperton's song? Poor woman, she had an amazing voice, I've never known my dogs howl to any song, but I hve excellent taste in music of course. Celine Dion would be my quess though

well when a dog howls it is trying to communicate with another dog's howl it thinks it is hearing

Max never bothers howling at music but every time a mobile goes off well. that's a different matter. I suppose it's the frequencies they use

I had a litter of pups around the time Charlotte Church was becoming famous. One of the pups would throw his head back and howl whenever she was singing and thereafter was known as Charlie Church. Mine also howl at the ice cream van or police sirens.

My sister-in-law has a pair of Alaskan Malamutes - one howles along to Maria Callas and the other howles along to the Muslim Call to Prayer..... which can sometimes cause problems :o/

Haha at Katie re the Muslim call to prayer! I saw a Michael Palin programme where he had a Mosque alarm clock and decided I had to have one, its so unbelievably tacky!

I had an Otterhound bitch who used to sing to the Archers theme, Fools and Horses, anything in a minor key, and in fact eventually on request ! Last night of the proms was a riot !
