Please help, our kitten wants to chew everything!

Is there any way to stop our kitten chewing wires etc.? Last week she chewed through my phone charger and yesterday through my phone wire, and has just started at the new one I bought today.
I can't keep her out of my bedroom as the door doesn't close very well and there's no way to wedge it shut from the inside. At this rate she'll cost me a small fortune in new electronic equipment, and of course I am worried she'll electrocute herself.
Any and all advice gratefully appreciated :)
