Wasp Fear

hi i have a big fear of wasps and know smoke keeps them away but it got to the point last summer where i was smoking one after the other, making myself feel sick or id just avoid going out at all. i am trying to quit smoking but im worried cuz it wont be long before their back. does anybody know of anything else i can do to keep them away as i dont want to pay for hypnosis knowing it may not work. please help!!
