rabbit biting through wire

hi i got home today to find my 12 week old rabbit had escaped from his run and nibbled his way throuigh the tv wire the video recorder wire and the digital satellite vuiewer wire. does anyoen no how i can stop him from doing this to say my computer etc : or were i can buy covrers to protect my wires

Hi, wouldn't it be better to make sure that he couldn't escape from his run..... In the long term you are gonna end up with a dead rabbit!

If it is of course still a risk that the rabbit might escape again in the future which they have a nack of doing don't they.

I would cover the wires. There is a product you can get it is a bendy extendable tube which is designed to keep all the wires going to and from your tv or pc neat of tidy. But it would stop the rabbit being able to nibble them the rabbit would have to eat right through the tube to get to the wires. You would just have to make sure it is as flush both ends i.e. there is not much point if the wires are too long for the protective tube because the rabbit will just eat the bare/uncovered wires either end.
