How do I stop my cats from sitting on my windowsill's and leaving all their hair on my curtains etc...

My cats do it too, its soooo anoying. Everytime I close my curtains I get fur all over my hands.

I don't know how to stop it though otherwise I wouldn't have furry hands right now.

I,ve tried spraying them with water ! Which they hate but they just keep on climbing back on. I have 2 black cats also ! Heeeeeeelp !

Hey, I've got two black cats too. I don't think you can ever stop them as cats are so ignorant and obnoxious anything you do they rebel to.

Or maybe my cats are evil???

No , all cats are little buggers ....

Theres an saying thats goes on about cats and dogs, Dogs think there owners are God's as they look after them, give them a home and feed them. Cats think they are God as we do all that for them !

Thats a good saying, it also aplies to my 17 year old brother and my mother ( my brother being a cat).

I know they shed hairs !

I mean in terms of training them to not jump up on high ledges etc.. Anything that is recommended to stop them going certain places

my cats do that too but only the window that lets them suvey the neighbourhood... don't think theres any way of stopping them?

Try putting foil down for a bit. They usually hate sitting on it and it might train them to stop sitting on that particular ledge.

You can't. Cats, like humans, are curious about their surroundings and like to look out of the window and see what's happening in their environment. Let them be. You can watch TV and read a book when you're bored. This is way of amusing themselves.

You can get training spray, it smells bad for a few hours but works - for a while lol.

Our Smudge & other cats used to love sitting on the window sill for hours watching the world go by.

We used to get a few cat hairs on the curtains, but they soon brushed off with one of those velco type clothes brushes, or the vac cleaner.

mine does it too,guess theres no way of stopping it,there naturally nosey and enjoy looking out.Weve got vertical blinds which he`s almost wrecked!

what you need to do is get a air freshner or a strong smell or a smell the catsdont liek then ruvb it on th3 iwndow sill and curtains to make it unpleasent for the cats to go up there tyhrn they will stop
