We had a few rumbles of thunder and then nothing.
It started here about an hour ago. Have opened every door and window in the house. Heaven.
yes, watering the lawn good and proper. But it really only lasted about 5 minutes. Considering we'd been promised rain all day, I feel a little let down.

We had a smaller 5 minute storm about an hour ago and got my washing in, in the nick of time. And now its been going on for about half an hour. Still quite muggy though and there is a bit of a not very nice smell outside so keeping doors closed.
sun shining now.
Nothing here yet.
Nothing here nor due, looks like it's over the eastern half of the UK. Have to water the garden again tonight, sigh.

Must have been quite a downpour in York, too. The good to firm forecast going is now officially good to soft. So glad i chose not to go up there tonight - had the chance as there was a spare seat going in the car.
