Beaches in the south of England where I can take my dog

My four-year-old dog LOVES water, but has yet to experience the sea.

Does anyone know any beaches or coastal areas where I could take my dog and let him play in the sea, please?

Come to Brighton & Hove. We have dog friendly beaches here all the year round. During the summer season not all are dog friendly but there are still plenty and they're all clearly marked. Don't forget it's pebbles though, not sand.
