I second neon tetra look great if you have a few, suggest you have 7 or more as they are shoal fish

When I was at school both the singular and plural was fish. If you said fishes you were slapped around the head with a wet cod.

and in a few days you'll have a tank full of cute dead fishes. For tropical fish with average maintenance; 2" of fish per gallon is a good guidance with moderate filtration.
