Guinness advert - Two men just say "well"

My lecturer in Pragmatics mentioned a Guinness advert involving two men at the bar, only saying the word "well" "weeeellll" "wellll?" "well!"

I've attached a link of a website where someone else would like to know the answer! I've searched for hours!
