visual notification of new email in outlook
i know how to use sound notification, is there a way of using a visual notification for the hard of hearing?

There is a configuration option (same place as where you configure the sound notification) which will both flash the cursor temporarily and place a "new mail" icon in the system tray.
However, if you're using the beta of Outlook 2010, this may not be possible due to the way the new system tray works in Windows 7. Hopefully this will be fixed before RTM...
