It was taken from the Kill Bill soundtrack- I think that the 5,6,7,8s are a Japanese band

They are indeed a Japanese three-piece band playing a mixture of kitch sixties pop and pure 60's garage material. Their music was overheard by Quentin Tarantino, director of 'Kill Bill' when he was browsing in a shop in Japan during a location scouting trip. He was so impressed, he offered to buy the album from the shop assistant. She refused, and when Tarrantino was unable to locate a copy, he offered her doub;e his first price to obtain the album. He tracked down the band, who have been together over fifteen years, and was so in love with their bee-hive and cocktail dress image, he signed them to play as the 'house band' in one of the fight scenes. The band were asked to play 'live' while the fight scene was filmed around them, which they managed to do. Because o0their heightened profile following the success of the 'Kill Bill' movie, the band have enjoyed festival appearences, and a tour in the UK.

HMV still have copies in all the stores I've been into recently. If your local one doesn't have one perhaps they could get hold of a copy for you. Of course you can always get the soundtrack to Kill Bill vol 1 but if you can track the single down the B-side (Guitar Date) is just as great!
