Wow - did anyone see the new Barnardo's ad last night on ITV - I think it came between Corrie & Celebrity.

Hard hitting - literally. I physically flinched when that poor girl kept getting slapped on the back of her head. It certainly made you think. Good advert, good point made.

But where do Barnados fit in today. I see their retail shops everywhere but can they substantiate their claims of support to dysfunctional families.

A 16y girl from care-home needed shelter, I asked Barnados & NSPCC to put her up - both refused and left her to fend for herself.

Anyone got any evidence?
