We have recently purchased a Humax freeview with an inbuilt hard disc recorder (Humax PVR9200T). My partner is now thinking of buying a new TV (Samsung LE26R73BD as per Currys website) which has freeview in built. A couple of questions.

1. Will it matter that the TV will have in built freeview and we have an external freeview box? Will it affect viewing and recording?

2. Will we need a new external arial for the digital TV as at present we have an old one that has been here for years?

Thanks in advance for any help.

1) Yes, it will matter! It will be much better, in that you will be able to record from the freeview box while watching a different freeview channel on the TV.

2) If you have an aerial that works with the recorder, that should be adequate fro the TV as well
