I have never had a cat before & we've just adopted a 9 week old kitten. She is gorgeous & clean and was litter trained from the day we got her & have had no accidents! However she is house bound at the moment until she has all her jags I find i can smell a weird smell in the house! Its almost a sweet kind of smell - definately not wee or anything like that but a distinctive smell :( My hubby just thinks i'm paranoid but I really dont like a smelly house!!! Is this just a kitten smell & does it go away - any tips from cat lovers appreciated!!
thanks

If you are used to a pet free house then you will definitely notice a smell, especially if the kitty is house bound right now.
When she starts going out more and using her litter tray less the smell will more than likely lessen. Its just one of those things... animals don't smell like people!
That's why I don't have a cat...... they smell.
thats why I dont have a dog they stink but cats are lovely
yes but cats you have to put there smelly litter boxes inside and they walk in the litter box and then walk all over your house. Ha!
