in the vauxhall zafira advert, (the one with the kids that look like old men!) the guy picks up a box of plates and they all fall out of the bottom, and the woman says 'my mother bought us those' - do the kids say 'oh, they're tired' or 'over tired'?!

you guys rule! thankyou! x
I thought they said, "Oh, they're tired" Sorry!!!
My mother always said I was tired if I was in a bad mood, or clumsey.
It always sounds to me as if the kids are saying "They're tired".
What does "Over tired" mean?
it's definately overtired. I know this because i have the subtitles on
Overtired - tired beyond the point of sleep, causing the individual to underperform and making them fractious. It's said of children when they're so tired that all they do is get the strops and won't sleep.
Depends which subtitles you use because ITV1 said it was Oh, they're tired..
Its a northern thing. They definately say over tired
im pretty sure they say "oh they're tired
Thanks to Bagpuss we can prove that the subtitles on ITV1 are as poor as their programming.
I bet Nick. Detroit wasn't expecting that much of a response! (by the way I also think it's over tired!)
oh,they're tired

apparently i won't win the argument until i write to vauxhall and ask them what they say!
overtired
its overtired definately . . . n it means u r very very very very tired! or if you want to be posh and use all posh words bout what it means . .. but they defo say ' overtired' !!
there was a pause between oh and they're, so it must be oh they're tired!
