Can anybody identify this piece of music that was used in an iPOD advert some time last year. It featured a guy walking down the street and each time the music changed on his iPOD his hair style changed too...

I have made a midi file of part of the music which is hosted here:

Thanks in advance

Hi Keldar,

I'm having problems trying to play your file but I believe that the track you are looking for is from an old Vodafone advert and is called 'Velocity Shift' by Overseer. Try looking up their album 'Wreckage' on http://www.amazon.com and you can play a sound file to ascertain whether I'm right or wrong.

Thanks,

I think I may have assumed that the tracks were the same... the clip on Amazon sounds like the end part of the advert. I dont recognise the riff that is in my midi file. Perhaps I am thinking of the wrong advert. The file on the link is just a midi file which should play in Windows Media Player, but needs either downoading or Opening direct from the link. It is only small 'cos it is only 2 bars long... thanks for your help tho'

Yes I agree that its difficult to work it out from the brief clip you get to hear on Amazon. I'll e-mail you the full mp3 version if you like so that you'll know one way or the other?

The track you are looking for is called 'Walkie Talkie Man' and it is by a band called Steriogram.

Hope that helps.
