does anyone know the track that was played on the whistle test when it was fronted by i think mark radcliffe the track is made of samples from 1950sadverts like " hi honey im home" and "you cant get fresher than that" it was just a collage of samples and images on video i believe it was about the same time as that n n n n nineteen record

It sounds like the sort of thing Coldcut might have done.
There were a couple of things by them done in the mid to late 80's which sort of fit that bill but i'm afraid i cant be more specific than that.
It could also have been something they did especially for the show.
BTW Mark Radcliffe never presented TOGWT but Mark Ellen did.

Hey, all these years later, but did you ever find an answer ? I remember this track from Mike Allen's hip hop radio show back in the day. Spent decades trying to find it !
A few songs have sampled them clips but can't find one with both in.
What year approx was it. Something around the time of Eric b Rakim or m.a.r r.s ?,
