OK my headline description may be a tad dramatic but that's certainly how it looks.
To be fair to him, Watson does appear to have a grip on reality.

Unfortunately the reality is that the EU will not allow it
Watson hasn't got sufficient grip on reality if he thinks we could get any change there, after bowing down and agreeing to stay.

After all, David C couldn't get any agreement to change before even appearing to agree to support the Remain camp.

Deputy Labour leader Tom Watson has said EU immigration rules may have to be revisited, saying "woe betide" the party if it ignores public concerns.
-------------------
He appears well reasoned to me, H!
Bertrum is right though, ChillD
I had to google Tom Watson. How times have changed.
Praising the role of migrants in the NHS and saying freedom of movement rules should be be curbed are not opposing views. They are two different situations. Watson, or Mann or any other Brexiter are not saying foreign workers in the NHS are doing a terrible job. Corbyn is not saying cheap workers from abroad keeping wages low is a good thing.

Trying to present this as a Labour rift is pretty feeble. Corbyn is not a true Remainer anyway, he has always been anti EU in his personal capacity.
I've never been convinced we need free movement of anything beyond that of goods/services. The rest seem to be political ideology.
Just another soundbite alarm call from the creep. Labour know that they have shafted the very people who put and kept them in power for years. The old labour voters and their families have borne the brunt of labour's wilful neglect of their concerns and now want out of EUSSR. Blair 1983 issued a leaflet urging "Total British withdrawal from Europe, which deprives us from making the right economic decisions" ....Blair 1987 promised that if elected, "he would work for Britain's total withdrawal from Europe, which drains and damages our National resources and is destroying jobs". They have seen the light brothers and will no longer follow blindly.

Wasn't trying to present it as such, just odd that Watson appears to pull the rug from under Corbyn having made the statement he just had, that's all.
@Togo.

Are you trying to tell me that Blair has been telling porkies? Surely not☺
//They have seen the light brothers and will no longer follow blindly.//

I was inaccurate there...... some will of course^^.
You will never see Watson and Camila Batmanghelidjh in the same room;

Just saying....
If we vote to remain - we will be crushed and absorbed. No-one will listen to our pathetic pleas. I talked another hoverer into going for Brexit today, I think. Another, rather panicky, lady I need to see. She's not sleeping, bless her, for worrying about how she should vote.
