Humax Remote Control

above wont work, my tv is stuck on Channel 5, I have changed the batteries but when I press OK the tv light at the top of the controls does not light up, nor do the other control lights at the top of the remote. I am an OAP and not very techno minded, any ideas pls

Is there a PVR mode on the remote? If you have touched this it might freeze the remote...

The PVR button on the remote controls the Humax box. Press PVR at the top of the Humax remote then the on/off button. Before you do this ensure the tv is activated using the remote for that device.

BTW. OAPs are now called persons of an esteemed age.

thank you folks, but I have a confession, I asked my neighbour to help me, he solved the problem in minutes, yes I had placed one battery incorrectly, I was convinced I had done it correctly but obviously not. What a numpty !
I do not have ALzeimers I have "sometimers" ... some time I remember & sometimes I DONT ! but thanks anyway
