How Do You Sell General House Hold Items

i have to clear a house of all the contents. what do you all reccommend is the best. cheapest and most profitable way ??

1. Bring in a house clearance expert and they'll give you a price for the lot.
2. Pick out the saleable items and either have a house sale, or a massive car boot sale.
3. Ditto, and sell them on eBay
4. If you have a local Buy-Sell-Swap site on Facebook, sell them on there

Things which are valuable put on ebay. Heavy and less valuable have a boot sale. Good stuff that didnt sell - Charity shop. Whats left in clothes/shoes banks. Gumtree is another site to offer goods on. When my mother died and we had to clear her house we did boot sales mainly.
