I was given this camera from my friend to try and work out how it works. I recorded a small video then plugged it in to both laptop and TV to view the footage and it comes up with an error message...I mean what can be difficult about this??? Its a storage device as such and it should be easy enough to use...I have no software just the device itself...do you think i should download some form of driver?

Hi I realised that I had posted in the wrong section so repost in Technology....upshot was I had not installed the preloaded software that converted the videos I had recorded I can now watch on the laptop. Thanks
