Do you know I've noticed 3 current TV Ads using Marc Bolan/T Rex hits at the moment. Hope he's looking down and proud of his legacy.

That's interesting lankeela, I don't recall hearing much about him last 20 years ago. I wonder if he realised his songs would be featuring so many years later.

Yes, it's over 35 years since he died and most of his songs are 40 years old but still sound great. The inclusion of I Love to Boogie in Billy Elliot has helped him remain in people's minds

They were walking about how people got their 'stage' names and it was mentioned by Danny Baker that he chose Bolan because it the begining and end of Bob Dylan (BO-LAN) who was his idol.
