I've only noticed when I log in, khandro.

I was thinking I might cough up. What sort of money are we talking about? (as in how much? I know wampum won't cut it)

Give any amount you want SR.  They are way off getting their monthly target of £1000 at the moment so anything will be a appreciated I would hope.

Donating doesn't stop the pop-ups, the two are not connected.

////What sort of money are we talking about? ////

Minimum £2.00

I tried to donate 10p to show my contempt for the paucity of decent features, but not accepted.

^That were a week's wages when thee were an egg, Canary.

'Donating doesn't stop the pop-ups, the two are not connected.'

Might be.

Enable and accept third-party cookies, otherwise, the pop-up can't legally remember it has appeared before and will reappear. This applies to both The AnswerBank and your browser.

What's the difference between 'Allow 3rd party cookies' and 'Allow 3rd party cookies in incognito mode', please.

Incognito mode is a privacy feature that some web browsers offer. When in incognito mode, the browser you're using creates a temporary session that is isolated from your browser's main session and user data. This means cookies are forgotten when you use incognito mode.

If you use The AnswerBank in incognito mode, you want to accept and allow third-party cookies so that the donation banner doesn't keep appearing.

Question Author

It maybe naïve inconsideration, or it may be foolish arrogance for AnswerBank to use a system which requires users of its piddling website to alter their computer settings for all the other websites they wish to use on their computers.

Of all the websites I enter I have never come across  anything like it.

For Pete's sake, shape up Ed.

You're becoming almost as annoying as the pop ups, Khandro.

Question Author

Zacs-Master.  I feel your pain.

Enable whaaaat?!!
I'd rather reduce my frequency here than change my settings to get rid of the pop ups thank you Ed.

I'd be interested to know whether it's working for you and raising loads of money?

//Enable and accept third-party cookies, otherwise, the pop-up can't legally remember it has appeared before and will reappear. This applies to both The AnswerBank and your browser.//

So what you're saying Spare Ed is if we don't want your constant reminder to donate money we have to accept third party cookies everywhere we browse?

Pardon me, but *** you

No, only on The AnswerBank. You can make it so third-party cookies are only allowed on The AnswerBank for your browser.

Your reaction to this is extremely inappropriate. Get a grip, 1Ozzy. It's a website cookie.

How does one do that please ? I can see no way.

What browser are you using again, Khandro?

Question Author

Google chrome

If you say so Spare Ed.
