Why do I have to keep signing in to post a comment or reply to a question? This is unusual and has happened three times in just one session

This shouldn't be the case, you're quite right.

Was it after doing anything in particular that you were kicked out?

Open ab in a different browser and go to sign in. There is a "forgotten password?" link on the sign in page where you can have the password reset.

I have a BT Yahoo email account. Until recently, it would ask me to sign in approx. every couple of weeks. Now I am being asked daily to sign in. What has changed?
