Chambers word wizard

Is anyone having problems with this? The layout has changed and it will only do anagrams if you have the first letter now.

Thanks thats fine for anagrams. Word wizard also did words where you only had some of the letters and you didn't need to have the first letter.

Katburd, thanks but that is not the "proper" one, it has changed today and doesn't do what it did before.

not sure what you mean then, can you give an example of what you want it to do, that it did before, I tried link words, anagrams and it solved them, thanks

the bst feature was if you had an incomplete word in a crossword, you could type in the letters you had and it would bring up a list of all words that fit the pattern of the letters, you didn't even need to have the initial letter.

the one i linked that you have bookmarked doesn't require an initial letter, so i'm not quite sure what features you're missing (i won't post any more)

You're right carandrog. Let's hope it's just a bug that will be fixed soon.
I don't think the anagram solver is different but the word solver solves
CR???W??D but not ?RO??W??D as it used to.

Caran on the new look Chambers if you do not have the first letter, place a full stop before your first ? and it should work.

Just tried it Mamya, doesn't work, it ignored the full stop and worked from 2nd letter onwards
