I don't know if this has been answered before but, why sometimes does it bring up the 'Latest Posts' when one submits an answer to a question?

Hi AOG,

What do you mean by "bring up"? You mean your question is displayed there? That is how it should work.

Or do you mean you see a list of the latest questions in a category?

You may need to clarify what you're seeing for me to fully understand what your concerns might be.

Sorry I wasn't more explicit, yes when I click 'submit' I get the latest posts, pop up.

Well I think they are the latest categories, but on what topic I do not know, your ballot on 'Gypsies Wedding' is at the top.

It is doing it all the time today.
Ah! That's the front page of the website? This shows you the most recently asked questions across the whole site, Here: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk

If it isn't this, I suppose it could be this one: http://www.theanswerbank.co.uk/Media-and-TV/

Could you let me know if it is the first or second link please?
Or neither I suppose!

Sorry ED, yes it is the first one, only done it once today though.
Ah, excellent.

The homepage is quite good for having a look at what's going on across the site - not sure why it would be dumping you there from other pages, but it is fairly harmless.

I'll flag it up anyway.

All the best,

Ed
Don't know if it is relevant but in my experience, if you look at a different page in a different window/tab (say the latest posts page for example) and then answer a query, the page that comes up is the one from the other window/tab. The site seems to hold the memory of the last page downloaded rather than the one you posted an answer to and gets itself confused.
Yes Old_Geezer I get that as well.

One of the many foibles of AB.
Each page is created dynamically so your browser will cache the newest page; this does mean if you're working on various posts you may end up being dumped to the "newest" question.

As Gromit says, one of the oddities of the system I am afraid.
