Android Tablets With "virtual" Keyboards -How To Do Stuff

How do you cut and paste etc using an android machine? Only have a virtual keyboard and a stylus so how on earth does one manage to do MS things like cut and paste with only one free hand?

Very sensible a bargepole is far too big, I recommend one of these.
