My Dad once visited my grandfather and as he left he told him he was going home to watch "Match of the Day". (This was in the days when MotD was on late Saturday evening and they showed just one match, the identity of which was not announced until after the matches had kicked off at 3pm). My Dad knew it was Tottenham (the team both he and my Grandfather followed) being...

Thanks for spoiling it for those who may have recorded it to watch later.

Some people are so inconsiderate.

Yeh, thanks for that!
Was recording it to watch after the football...ah well, the perils of the internet.
I think you had better get used to this schadenfreude, Ric.ror.
Don't get everything you wish for, but don't worry, we certainly not going to win the title playing like that.

Oh I am really sorry - this is the second time I have done this - Apologies again
So we mustn't talk about anything here until all ABers who record it have watched it later ?

How will we know when ?

[/spoiler]

Now to check if it's worked.
Hmmmmmm
So, it would have to be manual then - I'll bear that in mind, thanks for the heads-up.

I did mention in the OP birdie not in a reply post,
But once again I guess you knew that!

"OK then boy, " said my Granddad. "I won't tell you the result"

(Warning: Spoiler alert)

"But you won't see any goals"
reminds me of the famous Likely Lads episode! Classic.
