Talbot...I've only driven past, but I didn't notice them being held at gunpoint ...;)

Desperate people who will work for next to nothing, there is a reason that it is a 'Bargain'

andy, how were you were being ironic?
oh stop squabbling or i'll give you both a spanking!
Promises, promises!
Talbot - "andy, how were you were being ironic?"

Irony is a tricky subject in print - it is easy to be over-subtle with it, and have your post taken seriously, when no seriousness is intended.

I thought my post about illegals, and preferably Muslims would only be seen as being ironic - it appears I was mistaken, so I attempted to lighten to mood again with a tongue-in-cheek post to Tambo, which was not appreciated.

That's the risk of irony - sometimes it hits it hits the spot, sometimes it misses.

Bludy ell....what did I unleash 'ere then? ;)

Twas an experience, to be sure...their English wasn't that good, but I managed to get it across that I just wanted an exterior wash, one of 'em said £3, then before I knew what was going on he gestured to me to shut me window, then hundreds of 'em descended on me with squirters, brushes, mops....I felt quite pampered. I read a board which had several options listed,...not sure what I had, cos it said Car Wash £5,.....and 'cos of Andy's post I noticed Mini-Valet £9.99. I gave them 5 pound coins, and received a "God bless you". So that was nice.
