My neighbour's very old monitor seems to have died.
We thought I could loan him my monitor.
My computer is an eight year old Dell - the plug looks like a small skart with a large screw at each side. His plug looks completely different, don't know the make of computer.
Is there such a thing as a plug adaptor?

Your will be a VGA plug. I suspect your neighbour's is DVI. Something like this covers most things:...

Graham, that looks like the ideal thing.
Thanks to others who responded.
It would be very surprising if his computer did not have a VGA socket.

Almost all computers come with a VGA socket.
