Irrespective of what you might (in theory) put on them ...

Did anyone's pancakes turn out okay??

I had the stiff one, too much heat I think, bit dark brown on one side ...

Then the one that tore in the middle when I tried to turn it over ...

Then the one that was a bit thick, like an omelette ...

Then I added some more milk, to get around the thickness, and a bit more oil in the pan ...

And had the thin, oily one ...

Then a little one that only covered the middle of the pan ...

And then I ran out of pancake mix.

So, I tried ... but I didn't eat any of the pancakes I tried to make.

I suppose I can use the lemon for a gin and tonic.

I'm not sure what to do with the sugar. I never really use caster sugar. Perhaps Olive can take it.

Making pancakes sounds so easy, but it's really quite hard.

You don't turn over a pancake anyway, you should toss it (preferably out in the garden in case it leaps on the floor)

Look JJ you did your best & no one can better that. I personally love a tryer.

By the sound of it, everyone can do better. Why would you throw the first pancake, anne?
Talbot,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, because the first one is always rubbish, ( always have been ) :(

Yeah ... first one ... always rubbish ...

But the first one was probably my best effort.
First one went in the bin, forgot to put oil in the pan, Doh!

after that they were fine #toptosser
I buy ready made ones.
Oh, is it Shrove Tuesday already ?
