Tend to agree that any significant change in personality may be viewed as suspicious and lack credibility. No point in doing much this late in the day.

Policies should come first but it is also true that we have a strong, influential and convincing leader.

I will leave it at that....

AOG. I agree wholeheartedly!
Michael Sheehan is not a 'charisma expert'. He teaches public speaking.

His reputation is based on his work in Bill Clinton's early career. We remember Clinton as a very accuomplished speaker and very at ease on television. But it was not always so. In fact Clinton started off as a terrible speaker. After a famously bad performance in front of his own supporters in 1988, Clinton worked with Michael Sheehan to improve his act. It did wonders for Clinton's future prospects, and the Labour Party will be hoping for a similar improvement.

AOG. I agree wholeheartedly with the awards. Glad you found the Charisma Coach article. Someone tell Mikey. He's probably hiding behind the racks in the newsagents getting a quick peep at the article then quickly washing hi his hands!!

Gromit. Silk purse, sows ear comes to mind with Ed.
At the risk of being seen to keep banging the same drum, the Tories plainly thin more of Mr Miliband than they claim publicly, or they would not be going to such extraordinary lengths to avoid him.
The DUP thing is quite a clever (if desperate) move because if they were to be admitted Sinn Fein would understandably want in too. And many of the other parties have said they really don't want the DUP there (why not?!) , so that would be problematic also
Whatever way you look at it, it's pretty unconvincing stuff
Can you actually teach charisma?
He's wasting his - or someone else's - money.
Flashing the cash in the quest for panache!

I can't see them changing at this point. For a start the unions won't let them and they out him there, he's in their pocket and changing a Labour leader is not easy. Can only be done at Conference unless he resigns and that he will never do.
The 8th of May?

Not "shocking pink"........... It will clash with Hattie!
The advice is for Ed to loosen up and use a more 'conversational' style.

First off, he'd be better training Ed to sound as though he speaks English as a first language!

You can't polish a ........ what's the expression???????????
