Sorry, iPad probs again.

I used to have my lock sounds button off as the noise annoyed me but the past couple of days I have been hearing the sound again.

Have gone in to settings-sound-and slid the lock sounds left to turn it off.
But this doesn't work, as soon as i go somewhere else I can here again, I go back to settings and its on again.

How can I make it stay off?

Many thanks in advance.

When you go into settings, sounds is the long volume bar right at the top on the left hand side. If it is it should be like mute. Also is the change button off. My lock sounds and keyboard click is green. Hope that helps

Oh thanks so much, Sycamore! You're a star! How did I miss that? It's been mute for the past 18 months so how it changed I don't know. But never mind all sorted now.
