He is behaving like a petulant child ,stamping his feet and saying if it can't be my way then I'm not playing - they are better of with out has always minded me of Saint Arthur Scargill who thought he could walk on water!and this just reinforces my intial opinion of him. A true man would have stood by what his nation wanted and done his best for them , Its what they want not him.
Alec Salmond has shown more dignity in defeat than some have shown here in 'victory'. I have had the misfortune of reading diatribe after diatribe about anyone who dared to disagree with 2 prolific AB 'No' voters. Not content with slating Salmond off at every oppo the 'Yes' voters were given their characters as well. I've seen 'answers removed' here because someone 'corrected' a spelling mistake but this has been allowed to continue for months.Rest on your laurels and at least show a modicum of dignity...he worked his ass off whether you agree with his politics or not.
