Only caught the last few games last night - he seems to have an arroogance about him. Also winning the last game with four aces was not impressive, he should watch Djokovich for some entertaining tennis - that man is brilliant!

Ooh I think Murray is a gent, too. Mark Petchey goes all misty-eyed when he talks about what a great guy he is. No one has a bad word to say about him, in fact, apart from people who still pick up on something he said jokingly as a teenager during the football World Cup all those years ago.

Murray will retain his Wimbledon title, compared to him on grass the remaining contestants are mediocre.

Just for the record divebuddy, I said I wasn't impressed with Roger's 4 aces - I didn't say they were rubbish.
I'm a great Andy Murray fan, I think he's a fine young man, he's shy, quiet, doesn't get involved in drugs, or any drunken behaviour. He's never seen on the arm of some hooker or falling out of night clubs at 4am. He doesn't bite people. He's a credit to himself, his sport, his family and his country, both Scotland and Britain. Shame on ANYONE badmouthing him !!
BTW, I love Roger Federer too.
Finishing a game with 4 aces is very impressive. Venus Williams did it against Peta Kvitova but she didn't win the match. It's not that unusual to serve 4 aces but it isn't everyone who can do so.
I don't think any of the top players act like that janbee, why single out Murray?

What has that got to do with this thread Jordyboy9? We are talking about tennis and tennis players here.

Janbee in all my life I can't think of a singe tennis player from any nation known for that kind of behaviour.
BTW quizzy, I agree with you about Mr Federer's gold embellishments. Yuk:-(
