hi Kg once you fall in love with a shar pei its for life, my late hubby and me were totally besotted, we had Taz from an adorable puppy till he died at 14 years a bit grumpy by then, hubby died 3 weeks later he was very ill but he could not live without Taz he just gave up. when our little chap first came home he used to dash about like a looney for about 20 mins then just flop down and have a nap for about 5 mins then awake and repeat the whole thing all over again, we were besotted and just used to sit & watch him for hours. First time hubby took him to the local shops 5 mins away he was gone 3 hours every little old lady they met wanted to cuddle him.
