I have book on line ,and printed my boarding passes .but there is no reference to the return flight boarding pass. does any one know what happens .

Travel to USA via Canada

When you checked-in online you will have been asked if you wanted to do so for both of your flights. (However the option to do so for the return flight would only have been offered if you were checking in within 15 days of that flight).

If you've not checked in for the return flight you'll need to go through the procedure again (at any time between 15 days and 4...

While I'm a fan of Ryanair, I agree with Hopkirk that Boxtops has chosen a poor example. easyJet fly from Stansted directly to Glasgow, whereas Ryanair require you to get there via Prestwick.

As a frequent air traveller I often use Ryan Air and have absolutely no problem with them. The service is reliable, cheap and hassle free, and I can arrive at the airport less than an hour before the flight. I don't want to subsidise the people who have 20Kgs of luggage, want a personalised check in service, want to eat and drink the whole journey, and expect high tech entertainment on a 2 hour flight.
As far as the original thread is concerned, I sometimes fly with FinnAir with whom you can check in by mobile phone, and a text message is your boarding card. This works really well and you don't need access to a printer. You just show your phone at the security gate.

That does sound very modern Ben, check in by mobile great! I flew Ryanair for the 1st time earlier this year and we had no problems either apart from swapping the contents of our suitcases about at the bag drop off lol. Unfortunately travelling with a baby and 6yr old we did need 2 suitcases.
I don't get why people *** them off so much as you do truly get what you pay for and of course they charge you extra for 'being wrong' and any extras you may need thats how they make their money!
Squelly I suggest you log back on and print the return boarding passes as soon as it lets you. Don't go without them, you will be charged.

point taken Chris, generic "Glasgow" when we go to visit OH's mother.... we go to Prestwick as Stansted is kind of on the way there.

Ryanair have recently changed their check in policy to 7 days prior to your flight departure date making it extremely difficult to check in online for passengers going away for over 7 days. A useful source is checkinpal. We use them whenever we travel to our family villa as there's no internet access nearby. Checkinpal take your flight dates and check you in for your flight ensuring you have both your outbound and return Boarding cards.
