....... Ok, so I grabbed a yoghurt out of the fridge yesterday, then noticed it was a "bit" out of date - best before 2nd July 2013 ..... only just over 2 months out of date !!!!

........ well it smelt ok and it looked ok, so down the hatch it went ....... and it tasted ok too :)

I'm just wondering where everyone draws the line when it comes to eating out of date food ??

I'm still here and suffered no adverse side effects :)

Just two months out of date? I've had chocolate mousse that are 4 months out of date. I'm a big dodgy with milk though as I don't have a very good sense of smell and the taste of gone of milk is vile. I've got tins of beans dated 1992 and they are still alright to munch. Last year I supped a bottle of Bass Bitter dated 1984, it didn't even state the ABV% content it was that...

... some class answers - cheers peeps :)
I have never rejected yogurt because of its sell by date. It does seem that unopened and in the fridge it does not deteriorate. Never had any adverse effects from it.
Couldn't believe what I read above - who in their right mind could keep chocolate long enough for it to go out of date?
Think of the profits made if everyone strictly adhered to the best before dates.
God you're brave I wouldn't have ate it it would have went straight in the bin. Mind you I am known for cooking my chicken for eight hours solid to ensure any nasty bacteria is well and truly dealt with.
Me lankeela. Don't often think to eat it. Marmite never goes past its date in my establishment.
