You're at home, and someone out on the balcony pops a Champagne cork.

You, and all your pals, go "Yaaay!"

Or you're in a pub. Some people near you pop a Champagne cork.

You, and all your pals, go "Yaaay!"

Silly, obviously, but ... you just can't help it.

The fun is saving the fizz and winning against the cork. Not a guy thing.

That's true, DT ...

Although you do miss out on waving at people who look up if the cork lands near them.

This thread is about doing silly things, right?
Whenever I hear a plate smash, instead of the obligatory shout of "Sack the juggler" I usually chip in with "Don't bother washing that one".
Daisy, actually I talk to everything in sight, anyone around me will think I'm crazy.
Not quite fab jogger! The other longer word that starts with F and ends with K.
When a glass or dish breaks I say mazel tov.
Or the other longer word that ends with R.

Spoon ...

For no good reason except that you seem jolly, and I think I've taken an instant liking to you because your answer made me smile ...

I'm giving you the Best Answer.

I can't stop imagining a scene where you're having a quiet drink, and someone unexpectedly pops a cork behind you, and you go ... "Whoooah, FCUK!!"

LOL

(Best Answer coming up)
A bit late but thank you JJ (or do you prefer Jogger?) for giving the best answer. I've only just recently figured out how to look for BAs I have received and have to thank two more people. I think I will go public in chatterbox. Thanks again.

Crikey, Spoon ...

I didn't even know that you could search for your BAs. You're ahead of me already. Mind you, being ahead of me is not saying much, lol. That's called "setting the bar quite low" lol.

So ... JJ or Jogger? I really don't mind. x :0)

I hope it's okay to shorten yours to Spoon. We couldn't really call you "Boy". People only call people "Boy" in stories by Charles Dickens, lol ...

"Come here, boy"
"Yes, Sir, Mr Scrooge, Sir?"

he he
