I have just purchased a Toshiba c870 laptop, can anyone enlighten me as to how you open the dvd drive,?

According to the instruction manual:
http://files.sotmarket.ru/instr/notebook/toshiba/manual_toshiba_satellite.pdf
this is what you do:
1. Power should be 'on'.
2. Press eject button to slightly open disc tray.
3. Pull tray gently to open.

i go to my computer select dvd drive click on right and eject
