60s pubescent naughty book

Can anyone help me remember the name of a book that was considered very naughty in the 3rd form, late 60s. It was doing the rounds at school but don't think I ever got a copy. Vague memory it was about the sexual awakenings of a girl, maybe at boarding school. Title may have had a girl's name in it??

It probably wasn't Lady Chatterleys Lover, which was the playground book of choice when I was growing up in the 60's.

I was always amazed that if you dopped the book, it always landed on the ground, open at the same page !
