My wife has been in the UK since she was 11 but still on an open-ended visa and only holds an RSA passport.

We're hoping to go on holiday to Spain next year - read about a Schengen visa but most of the advice were from RSA based sites.

What are the visa requirements for a South African travelling from UK to Spain for a week?

South African citizens require a Schengen visa to enter South Africa, which currently costs £52.20. See here:

your geographic knowledge of Magaluf is astounding FRED. either you have a degree in travel or you've bowled on over there with a bunch of mates and spent the whole week telling everyone you're from bordon, only to be met with blank expressions.
