How do I erase missed calls on my telephone?

We have got a new `phone some time ago,and over time we have chalked up missed calls. Now I want to get rid of them,but I can`t find how to do so in the instuction book.There appears to no section re: missed calls. Can someone suggest a method. Many thanks.

You are so right,silly of me not to give that info`. It`s a land line `phone.The model is "BT Decor 1300"
