Hi NazNomad thanks for replying to my question.
This version is not the one i was looking for, it has the same lyrics but is not sung the same way. It was out on a 45 record in the 70s and was sung by a male. I have looked on you tube but have not found it yet.

Produced by Mr Bunny Lee a featuring a real soulful slab of heavyweight reggae. incluudes the catchy My True Destination on the B-side. The vinyl displays some light surface marks but this does not affect play. A very nice track on a small and very interesting label!)

Just downloaded it safely from that link, if it's the right one ... a little scratchy (obviously ripped straight from vinyl, but not in a bad way, lol)
