frozen yogurt

hi could anyone tell me if l could freeze shop bought yogart then when frozen be able to eat it like ice cream, l keep hearing of people having frozen yogurt and wondered if l could make it from when bought, would appreciate if anyone knows how this is done and how. many thanks.

I wouldn`t have thought so. I would think it has to be churned like ice cream

It`s an old weight watchers suggestion, freeze low fat yogurt so you don`t think your doing without.

Commercially frozen yog is special recipe and is churned during freezing. You'll end up with "icy" yog doing it yourself.
