my friends fiat brava rear wiper and rear heated sreen wont work, any common reason for this. i looked at fuses but not sure i checked right one. any help very welcome, bri

Open the hatchback and look round the edge of the opening. You will see a collection of brass contacts which supply the electricity to rear screen heater and wiper. Give these a good clean and also clean the contacts on the opening part. Corrosion on any of these would cause the problem you describe.
