That only applies to goods you buy from Amazon, not Amazon market place.
You need to make sure you have selected the free standard delivery option and not first class delivery.

Ahh okay right got ye!! tried to get nectar points too but they didnt seem to go through either so must be the market place it was coming from sports direct so just went on there and used a voucher code to get %5 off so better off there, cheers,
Don't do this kind of thing so can't swear, but maybe in order to get nectar points, you have to enter their site via nectar - I know you have to with some things.
When finalising the purchase (if you are buying from Amazon itself) a page appears on your way to the checkout asking you choose which type of delivery you want. You have to click the "Free Super Saver Delivery" to get free postage, otherwise postage WILL be charged. However,if you make a mistake and don't click the right postage,go into "My Account" and delete the items, and then purchase them again remembering to click the right postage this time.
I hope this is clear?
Amazon Marketplace purchases always incur postage.
Mr V is right, you have to go back and change the postage to "free" during checkout.

you may still be able to change it..
Postdog has it correct.
This is the Amazon portal at Nectar,if you enter Amazon in the normal way you will not get Nectar Points.

Ah well, ce la vie.
